Many of them had never seen a white man or woman before, and they were especially delighted that Neil and Carol brought their two young children (Heather and Dan) to live with them too. To them, the Andersons were a gift sent from God. The Folopas are a proud people and proud of their culture and traditions, but they also wanted to know more about God, and the white man's ways.
